| HOW TO TELL IF A HEDGEHOG IS HEALTHY OR SICK |

Below are a couple of 'tips' for telling if a hedgehog is healthy or sick. If you are unsure if a hedgehog is healthy or sick, secure it, then contact the centre immediately. |
| The Shape of a Hedgehog |
When picked up a healthy hedgehog will roll into a 'round' ball shape. |
When picked up a dehydrated hedgehog will roll into an oblong shape. |
| The Spines on a Hedgehog |
The spines on a healthy hedgehog will 'stick up'. |
The spines on a sick hedgehog will lie flat on its body. |
